Kait is a writer, digital content creator, and communications specialist located in Philadelphia. She is currently the Director for Web & Digital Strategy at the University of the Arts, the largest institution of its kind in the nation, offering programs in design, fine arts, media arts, crafts, music, dance, theater and writing. As the Director for Web & Digital Strategy, working within the marketing department for the University, her primary role is to develop and implement the University’s web content strategy, with focus on marketing communications, web optimization, online brand presence, message continuity, and is responsible for University of the Arts’ institutional website and its content.

Previously, Kait was Director of Communications & Digital Media for the Philadelphia Film Society, the host of the Philadelphia Film Festival, where she oversaw the creation and implementation of a dedicated communication and promotional plan for the Film Festival, as well as year round programming, and fundraising initiatives.

Kait was the Managing Editor for the online publication, AllGeekToMe.net. She began writing for AllGeekToMe.net as a contributor in June 2012 and was part of the editorial team that won the 2013 Geekie Award for Best User Experience. In 2014, Kait became a contributor for Entertainment Weekly’s Community Blog, where she wrote weekly recaps of television shows including; Bob’s Burgers, Documentary Now!, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. She was the producer of the Philadelphia based web-series, Mummy Cop, worked with independent filmmaker, Ben Hickernell (Lebanon, PA), and a publicist at JGoldstein PR, in New York City where she was account manager for PBS Distribution.

Kait is a graduate of Temple University where she received a BA in Film and Media Arts. Self-proclaimed the People’s Princess of Emo, Kait spends her evenings illuminated by the glow of her laptop writing her own bewitching stories while blasting My Chemical Romance.
